International Representatives of the Worldwide Audio Industry Pack London AES

London, UK — As you read this, the Exhibition at the 128th AES Convention in Hammersmith, London, has one full day to run (Tuesday, May 25th), along with the attendant Conference Sessions. Looking forward to the final day on Monday afternoon, AES Executive Director Roger Furness commented, “One of the joys of holding the show in London again after 23 years is that we’re getting a lot of day visitors from the nearby recording and post-production communities, of which there are so many here in London, and we anticipate a lot more people like that on the final day — we know that many from the BBC are due to come down tomorrow. With Television Centre only two miles up the road and studios like British Grove and Metropolis within walking distance, it’s very easy to drop in for a couple of hours in the middle of the day and then return to work if you’d like to. If you’re thinking of dropping by, we look forward to welcoming you then. There are more excellent seminars today and tomorrow, and a number of product launches and press events in the Exhibition Hall later this afternoon.” More »
