Benchmark’s Popular Web-TV Series, ‘Masters From Their Day.com’ Featured at 129th AES

Syracuse, NY — Some of NYC’s best studios, engineers, producers, and musical artists are being put on the spot in a new web-TV series, ‘Masters From Their Day’. The debut of ‘Masters From Their Day’ episode #4 (featuring legendary producer/engineer John Agnello) will take place all weekend during AES at Benchmark’s booth #1225.

In each ‘webisode’ of this series, the featured artists, engineers and producer are challenged to complete the entire production of a song in one day (usually around 6 hours).  Each session takes place in a world-class recording facility using an array of amazing equipment, including Benchmark mic-preamps and A/D/A converters. Trident Unveils Their Latest Series 80 Console at AES

San Francisco, CA –In addition to the A-range and Series 80B dual channel modules introduced earlier this year, Trident will be unveiling their latest in the Series 80 console range begun in 1980, the Trident Series 82 at AES.

The Trident Series 80 console set a new standard at that time by offering an extremely musical audio path in a deceptively simple-to-use console layout. In Malcolm Toft’s original specification for the Series 80 equaliser, he chose frequency centers and the curves more by ear than anything else owing to his experience as an accomplished recording engineer (and Chief Engineer) at the legendary Trident Recording Studios.
